Cadet Pilot Programmes are a structured ab-initio pathway to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), with direct induction pathways to the airline as Junior First Officers. Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) offers pilot training in Dubai.

Eligibility Criteria for Emirates Cadet Pilot Program
Emirates has 2 entry routes based on education level.
Route 1: High School Degree Holders
- Age Requirements: 18-21 years old at time of application
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum 80% in high school.
- Must have studied Mathematics and Physics in final year.
- English proficiency: required (IELTS 6.0 if non-native speaker).
- Physical Requirements: Minimum height: 160 cm.
- BMI of 29 or less.
- Medically fit for GCAA Class 1 Medical.
- Documentation: Valid passport (6+ months validity).
- Ministry of Education attestation required for certificates.
Route 2: Degree Holders (Diploma and Above)
- Age Requirements: 21-26 years old at time of application.
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum GPA 3.0 in Scientific or Engineering major.
- IELTS score 6.0 required at application
- Physical Requirements: Minimum height: 160 cm.
- BMI of 29 or less
- Medically fit for GCAA Class 1 Medical.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible for UAE student visa (if not UAE national)

- No Flying Experience Required: Emirates accepts complete beginners. You don’t need any prior pilot training.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 is mandatory at time of application.
